Historic Hill with the Kuhlmann-King House, the Pioneer Kitchen, and the Henry J. Graham Building is located at the top of the hill behind the present City Hall in Boerne. With the exception that the upstairs of the Kuhlmann-King House is in serious need of repairing the floor, the city has graciously supported our efforts in keeping the museum buildings in good repair so that we can open them to the public. Being partners with the city is very important to BAHPS. Their generosity has made the tours for visitors and our third grade students possible. As you know, Boerne City Hall will be moving to their new location on Main Street soon. As they move to their new home, we are anxious about the future of Historic Hill. To reduce these historic structures to rubble would be an immeasurable loss. We trust that the city will continue to support our efforts, to dedicate Historic Hill to be preserved into perpetuity. Please let your city officials know you are vested in keeping the history of Boerne alive. Remember, I’m pulling for you; we’re all in this together.
