Fellow Members,

Fellow Members,

On December 6, 2019, we lunched with Mayor Tim Handren of Boerne. The topic of discussion was to hear what the plans for Historic Hill with the Kuhlmann-King House, the Pioneer Kitchen, and the Henry J. Graham Building would be when City Hall moves into its new complex on Main Street in Spring, 2020. Historic Hill is located at the top of the hill behind the old City Hall in Boerne. City Hall’s move was completed earlier this year in February and March. We await the city’s pleasure as to the dispensation of the three historical buildings. Being partners with the city is very important to BAHPS. Their generosity has made the tours for visitors and our third grade students possible. We trust that the city will continue to support our efforts, to dedicate Historic Hill to be preserved into perpetuity. Please let your city officials know you are vested in keeping the history of Boerne alive. Remember, I’m pulling for you; we’re all in this together.
