The printing, stuffing envelopes, buying stamps, and mailing that BAHPS normally does to distribute The Mountain Laurel Newsletter is hampered by the Covid-19 social distancing and closings. The Spring 2020 newsletter is being delivered to all members who have provided an e-mail address.
The Historic Hill signage posted on Blanco Road in downtown Boerne is being refurbished by Paul Holekamp of Circle H Signs in Boerne. Updating and new paint should be complete by the middle of May. They are the company that originally made our beautiful sign which we have enjoyed for a few decades
Julie Gossell, the Director of Historic Hill, has undertaken a thorough cleaning of all three historic buildings in the complex. The new BAHPS travelling outreach program is off to a successful start. All but one of the district's elementary schools had participated this past Fall. We look forward to visiting with schools in the coming year, once they are back in full swing and are accommodating visitors once again.
